Overview

This MAN single expander rigid OB van was originally built in 2011 for horse racing coverage in the UK. It is currently undergoing a comprehensive refurbishment and upgrade to deliver a modern, high-performance broadcast solution suitable for European and international operations.

As part of the upgrade, the coach is being transferred onto a newer left-hand drive (European specification) chassis of similar dimensions to the original MAN TGS, ensuring full compliance and enhanced operational flexibility.

Refurbishment Scope

Exterior

• Removal, full service, and reinstallation of hydraulic system
• Complete inspection and servicing of electrical systems
• Transfer of coach body onto a new left-hand drive chassis
• Full exterior repaint in metallic white
• Upgrade to modern exterior lighting
• Replacement and servicing of air conditioning systems
• Replacement of locker gas struts
• Locker interiors lined with aluminium chequer plate

Interior

• Removal of existing wall coverings and installation of modern wall panels
• Upgrade to contemporary, high-efficiency ceiling lighting
• Replacement of all floor finishes with modern materials
• Installation of LED task lighting under desks
• Refinishing of wood trims to a modern standard
• Removal of partition wall and interior reconfiguration
