The RF1 4 camera OB van is a compact 7.6-metre production vehicle with a dual-path, fully redundant Ku-band uplink. It combines a 16-input 2 M/E HD-SDI vision mixer, a 6-channel EVS position and two VTR positions. In addition, its 1.5 m Advent antenna and two Xicom 400 W HPAs make it well suited to live news, sport and events from remote locations.

Four Ericsson E8040 MPEG-4 encoders and two RX8200 receivers support HD/SD DVB-S2 contribution with BISS encryption. Meanwhile, a Yamaha 01V96 digital desk handles sound, and a 40×40 HD/SD matrix with synchronisers and cross-converters covers engineering. Finally, a 10 kVA on-board generator and a 10-minute UPS keep the van independent on location.
