ZO’R TV-24 Camera Triple Expander 4K/UHD OB VAN

THE BRIEF

ZO’R TV commissioned C2S to design, supply, and build a triple expander 24 camera 4KUHD OB trailer to support its growing demand for high end production services.

The objective was to create a large scale, future proof mobile production facility capable of delivering international sports broadcasts, servicing the local football federation, covering FIFA and judo tournaments across Central Asia, and supporting complex live concerts and government events.

Built around cutting edge 12G 4K UHD technology, the system infrastructure was based on Ross Video solutions, including the Ross 12G Ultrix router, Ross Carbonite Ultra 60 vision mixer, Ross Glue, Ross XPression graphics system, Riedel Artist64 intercom, 30 channels of Riedel R12 and R6 replay servers, and a Yamaha DM7 EX audio mixer. During the build of the triple expander OB trailer, special consideration was given to the extreme climate conditions in Uzbekistan, where temperatures can exceed 50 degrees in summer and drop to minus 30 degrees in winter.

The vehicle was engineered to operate reliably in both extremes, ensuring stable cooling, power distribution, and environmental control at all times.In addition to the technical performance, significant attention was given to the internal design and ergonomics, resulting in a visually impressive and highly functional mobile production environment. The first deployment of the OB trailer was for the FIA Formula 1 Awards event in Tashkent, where it successfully delivered high quality live production coverage.
