ZO’R TV – 24 Camera Double Expander HD OB VAN with 1.8m Satellite Uplink

THE BRIEF

C2S acquired a 24-camera HD OB van from SuperSport Nigeria, originally built in 2012 to cover the local football league. The van was shipped back to C2S’s UK facility for a complete renovation before being delivered to ZO’R TV in Uzbekistan. The system comprised two Mercedes AXOR double-expander vehicles, a production unit and a VT/Satellite unit, along with a support vehicle equipped with twin generators.

ZO’R TV requested that the refurbished OB van be restored to a factory-new condition. To achieve this, C2S carried out a comprehensive overhaul, including:

Respraying all three vehicles and applying ZO’R branding
Renovating the interior of the OB van
Upgrading the vision mixer, router, glue, multiviewer, and audio mixer
Replacing the Snell Aurora controller with Skaarhoj panels programmed for Snell router and TSL Tallyman control
Migrating audio infrastructure to DANTE
Replacing all monitors and control systems
Upgrading cameras, EVS servers, and VT units
Performing full servicing of vehicles, including coachwork, generators, power systems, UPS, air-conditioning, and KU-Band satellite system

This extensive renovation ensured the OB van met modern broadcast standards and delivered a high-quality, reliable solution for ZO’R TV.
