StudioVision – 12 ENG Camera HD OB VAN with 1.5m KU-Band 1+1 Satellite Uplink
THE BRIEF
C2S acquired an 8 camera Iveco 70C17 OB van originally built in 2015. The vehicle had previously been used during the Football World Cup in Qatar and later during the French Olympics.
Following its acquisition, the OB van was shipped to C2S’s UK facility for a full renovation and technical upgrade before delivery to StudioVision in Congo Brazzaville.
As part of the upgrade, C2S converted the vehicle into a 12 ENG camera OB van. The work included a complete rewiring of the vehicle, the installation of frame synchronisers to accommodate ENG cameras, and the integration of a Ross Carbonite 2ME vision mixer.
C2S also integrated a wireless talkback system alongside the existing wired talkback, added Dante connectivity to the audio system, and carried out a full refurbishment of the OB van interior and systems. In addition, a 6 kVA UPS system was installed to improve power stability and operational reliability.
