THE BRIEF: A STREAMING TV CHANNEL IN NIGERIA
In 2024, C2S delivered a complete streaming TV channel in Lagos, Nigeria, for a private broadcaster.
C2S supplied and integrated all equipment across the full broadcast chain, from acquisition through to transmission, installing a modern and failure resilient system designed for reliable 24/7 operation.
The solution included an AxelTech playout system, Studio with URSA Studio Camera Channel, Gallery, MCR, Adobe Edit Suites, Promax share storage, IT network Infrastructure.
THE SOLUTION
The streaming TV channel in Nigeria was built around a single, integrated workflow. Programmes are captured in the production studio with three Blackmagic URSA Studio camera channels, a TV Prompt teleprompter and wireless microphones. In the production control room, a NewTek TriCaster TC2 and a Blackmagic ATEM 2 M/E Constellation HD switcher handle vision mixing, supported by a Yamaha TF1 audio mixer, RTS OMS talkback and Konvision monitoring. Content is edited on Adobe edit suites and stored on a 112TB Promax Platform Studio shared storage with media management. Finally, the AxelTech XTV playout system schedules and airs the channel around the clock. By supplying and integrating every system, C2S gave the client a turnkey streaming TV channel ready for continuous 24/7 operation.
