This used Canon HJ22ex7.6B IRSE A is a second unit of Canon’s popular 22x HD ENG zoom, available separately from our other HJ22 lenses. It covers 7.6 to 168 mm, which takes a crew from a wide establishing shot to a tight close-up without changing lens. In addition, the built-in 2x extender doubles the reach to 336 mm when the action moves further away.

Typical applications

For example, broadcasters use this lens for daily news, magazine programmes and documentaries, where one optic has to cover every situation. Moreover, it is a good match for sideline positions at football or rugby matches, as well as press conferences and red-carpet events. Because a second unit is available, it is also a practical way to equip two camera crews with the same lens. As a result, operators keep identical handling and framing across both cameras.

Furthermore, C2S Media supplies used broadcast equipment alongside its OB vehicles and systems integration services, for broadcasters and production companies across Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
